Monuments / Markers

Monuments/markers are the responsibility of the family and acquired from a monument company which installs it.  All must follow the Bylaw of the Cemetery Association.
 
Depending on the lot, there are size restrictions for the marker that the Bylaw addresses. 

Each marker must have a proper foundation to ensure it remains straight and does not topple over in the coming years.  For all lots purchased prior to 2024, the family/executor will need to make arrangements with the monument company to install the foundation according to the Cemetery Policy.

Marker Installation


The schematic on your left are terms used when discussing markers.  The size restrictions are as follows:
  1. Single lot maximum: Foundations and markers shall not be greater than 36” in length and 22” in width and shall be centered at the head of the lot.
  2. Double lot maximum: 1 monument and foundation not greater than 48” in length and no more than 22” in width and which shall be centered at the head of the lots.
  3. Flat marker minimum:  The flat marker shall not be greater than 16” in length and 12” in width and shall be centered at the head of the lot.
